Welcome to our little slice of paradise where nature meets nurture! Jamber Acres was established in the Spring of 2023 by John and Amber Loughrey. We both felt that it was difficult to find fresh, locally grown, excellent quality produce so we decided to grow it ourselves! Our small, no-till farm is located in Cotopaxi, Colorado (about a 20 minute drive North of Westcliffe) with an amazing view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. We start every vegetable from seed and grow in two high tunnel greenhouses and in the field. We do not use any toxic or harmful chemicals, but instead rely on beneficial insects, natural fertilizers (Neptune’s Harvest and Down to Earth) and OMRI Listed® products. We do NOT use APEEL’S EDIPEEL™ / ORGANIPEEL™. Regular water is used if vegetables need washing! Our mission is to provide our rural mountain community and neighbors (that we love so much!) with fresh and nutritious produce. You can now find our veggies at Sunflower Natural Foods in Westcliffe and every Friday during the Summer at the Westcliffe Farmer’s Market. Tours welcomed by appointment only. Member of Colorado Proud and our farm is Certified Naturally Grown. Cash, credit card and SNAP/EBT accepted.
