Buck and Bloom Cheese Co. is an artisan cheesemaking business located at 8,000' in Buena Vista, Colorado. We source our milk from small, family-owned dairies who have excellent practices in sustainability and animal husbandry. Our A2 Golden Guernsey cow milk is sourced from Colorado Cow LLC in Hudson, CO, and our goat milk is sourced from Yoder Family Farms in Trinidad, CO. At our creamery in Buena Vista, we create a variety of cheeses including fresh cheeses, bloomy-rind cheeses, and hard cheeses that age in an underground cheese cave. Variety is our specialty and we have some unique recipes/new styles of cheese that we have invented on site.
Our creamery is located on a beautiful 42 acre farm known as "Buena Vista Farm" where visitors are welcome to come 7 days a week to shop at the farm store and interact with animals. While we are sourcing our milk from small farms in Colorado, we are also busy raising our own herd of dairy goats that will be producing milk by 2027. We offer tours of the farm, creamery, and cheese cave most weekends, and love educating the public about dairying and cheesemaking.
