Douglas Creek Tallow, a subsidiary of Douglas Creek Enterprises, LLC, is a locally owned, operated and produced, skin and hair care business. At Douglas Creek Tallow, we honor the traditions of natural skincare. Each creation begins with nature’s purest sourced tallow, enriched by botanicals and crafted in small batches. From our pristine pastures to your daily skincare, we bring you the essence of natural beauty. Our mission is: Pure ingredients. Refined formulations. Uncompromising results. I’m a fifth generation Western CO rancher. I own and operate a cow/calf ranch in Rangely, CO. The tallow will be sourced locally from my ranch and other local ranchers and crafted by me. This company is a small family business consisting of me, mom, Jessica Potter, and my two young daughters, Paisley and Lillie who are on the verge of their teen years. The idea was created due to their acute interest in skincare and beauty products. Beef suet is an underutilized byproduct. We have found a value-added way to not only utilize more of the beef carcasses we and local ranchers produce, but to create a highly demanded, locally sourced and produced new product. The business is still in startup phase. We currently don’t have social media or websites up and going yet. We are hoping to get all the labeling (including CO proud membership) finalized prior to going live with product sales.
