I’m Monica, founder of The Peruvian Cookie Company, based in Colorado. I create handcrafted Peruvian alfajores; soft, delicate sandwich cookies filled with dulce de leche—along with our Andean-inspired flavor Choco Quinoa. Everything is made in a licensed commercial kitchen with a strong focus on safe handling, clean production, and dependable quality, so customers can feel confident with every bite. What makes my business special is the meaning behind it. As a Peruvian immigrant, baking alfajores became my way of sharing “home” in a place that was once new to me; turning memories, tradition, and comfort into something people can taste. I care about the little details: thoughtful packaging, a warm customer experience, and a product that feels both familiar and exciting for anyone trying it for the first time. I’m grateful for every person who supports a small business, and I truly love meeting customers face-to-face at local markets.
