Hi! I’m Sarah Yahya, founder of Yah Yah Yah—the first Iraqi-American, woman/minority-founded clean-label ready-to-drink in a can coffee. We’re opening a fresh lane in a vanilla/mocha-heavy category by pairing specialty-grade coffee with simple, lower-sugar recipes and Middle Eastern flavor cues. Yah Yah Yah was born from my family’s generations' old coffee ritual in Baghdad—brewed in a Dallah, the traditional Arabic coffee pot and symbol of hospitality. We honor that ritual while introducing delicious middle eastern flavors that are familiar, comforting, and distinct. Flavor formulations of our 3 SKUs are guided by a professional coffee grader who's been in the coffee business for over 20+ years. As for me, I was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq, and came to the United States after the war at age 15. I put down roots in Colorado, earned a Petroleum Engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, and built a successful engineering career before founding Yah Yah Yah. Colorado has always felt like home—its community, character, and entrepreneurial spirit have shaped who I am and what this brand stands for. Yah Yah Yah’s roots are here, and it would be an absolute honor to carry the Colorado Proud logo on our coffee cans to reflect the place that helped bring this vision to life. Yah Yah Yah will be launching in Feb. 2026.
