High Altitude Rhubarb--Farm & Nursery

Small, family-operated, pick-your-own farm offering rhubarb picking since 2008. The public harvests are at most one or two days each year with the first harvest normally the first Saturday in June, 8:30-11:30. The dates, however, are subject to weather and annual growth so visit the website to join the harvest notification list and keep up-tp-date. The farm also offers rhubarb and horseradish plants for sale via email prior to harvest. Most plants are picked up at the farm in April/May and larger orders (5+ plants) can be shipped. The plant sale is normally in April and you'll want to join that announcement list if you're interested in plants (visit the website). Local honey and rhubarb cookbooks are normally on sale as well, at discounted prices. Parking is along the street. There is a passenger drop-off area near the sales tent (up the driveway) but parking in that area is limited handicapped and buses. The farm has become uncommonly popular in recent years.
