Vino Salida Wine Cellars values community and fun. We lovingly craft our wines and celebrate everyday in the scenic and serene Poncha Springs tasting room. Winemaker, Steve Flynn, has worked closely with Colorado grape producers to forge long lasting relationships. In the cellar, Steve's drive to craft quality products has led to many different styles of wine, all tasting unique and purely Coloradan. Colorado's abundant sunshine, warm days, cool nights, and low humidity provide the perfect conditions for wine grapes that feature the complex character and chemistry required to craft award-winning wines. Vino Salida sources grapes from the two federally designated grape growing regions in Colorado: The Grand Valley AVA, including Grand Junction and Palisade, and the West Elks AVA, surrounding Paonia and Hotchkiss. We also bring in grapes from growers in the Southwest of the state near Ignacio and Cortez. We are proud to be part of Colorado's agritourism, offering wine tastings, winery tours, and private events.
