Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Bacon Fat
- 1 Yellow Onion, Fresh, Diced Medium
- 1 Green Bell Pepper, Diced Medium
- 2 tbsp Garlic Paste, Fresh
- 2 lbs Ground Beef, Fresh, 80/20
- 2 can Tomato Sauce, 15oz
- 2 can Petit Diced Tomatoes, 15oz
- 4 cup Beef Stock
- 4 tbsp Paprika, Smoked, Sweet
- 4 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tbsp Salt, Kosher, Adjust if needed
- 2 tbsp Pepper, Black, Ground, Fresh, Adjust if needed
- 3 cups Pasta, Elbow, Mezze Rigatoni or Trotolle, Uncooked
Directions
- Wash all tools prior to use
- Clean and sanitize all cutting boards and prep surfaces prior to use
- Read all manufacturer’s instructions before using ovens, grills and any cooking tools
- Prep all ingredients as shown and have set aside in prep containers
- Heat large frying pan to medium heat
- Add bacon fat and heat for 30 seconds
- Add onions and peppers and saute for 3 minutes
- Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute
- Add ground beef and cook until 3/4 cooked
- Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, stock, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings
- Stir to combine and bring to a simmer (about 6-8 minutes)
- Adjust seasoning if needed
- Add pasta and stir in to combine
- Simmer for 15-20 minutes or until pasta is cooked to your desired doneness
- Scoop into bowls and serve with sliced bread
